Easy Language - Education

Access to Information

In accordance with Article 21 of the Charter of Human Rights of Persons with Disabilities on freedom of expression and opinion and access to information, States Parties shall take all appropriate measures to ensure that persons with disabilities

Easy reading method

Easy to Read is a method of adapting the content, language, presentation and images for a target group that has difficulties in reading and understanding information in order to make it accessible.
The Easy to Read method is a key tool for informing both people with disabilities and migrants and refugees who have not yet developed the vocabulary to fully understand the written information provided to them.

Education

The training is designed to give participants a solid understanding of the concept of Easy Language, the tools to be able to produce Easy to Read materials and methods to apply them on a daily basis. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the training. The certificate will validate their competence. The training includes 4 steps with 4 sessions over 5-8 sessions
weeks. Between sessions participants work individually with practical exercises.
