We follow the most up-to-date practices in research and practice internationally. Some of the topics are:
- Use of easy-to-read - a methodology used to convert/adapt information into a more accessible and understandable format.
- GDPR.
Research and Development
Puzzle has a strong interest and experience in conducting research studies and using them to inform clinical practice and focus activities. For example, we were involved in a needs assessment study looking at whether there was a lack of accessible information about human rights for people with intellectual disabilities. Based on these results, we then proceeded to bridge this gap by producing and making accessible (easy-to-read) information for people with intellectual disabilities available in an easy-to-read format.
Puzzle's scientific study team includes scientists with postgraduate studies in education, psychology and social inclusion. Members of our team have carried out studies and research on a broad field of social action such as volunteering, non-formal education, quality of life for people with disabilities, employability, supported housing, etc.

Improving the Lives of People with Disabilities in the Community
Our cooperation with the Social Organization "Elpida" aimed at developing and implementing support programs for people with disabilities. Within a year, we managed to improve the quality of life of dozens of people by offering educational programs and counselling.
Innovative Solutions for Social Inclusion
With the "Social Solidarity" Organization, we collaborated in the development and implementation of innovative social inclusion programs. The result was the creation of a support network that helped hundreds of people to integrate smoothly into society and acquire new skills.
